Amazon Web Services

Amazon S3 provides object storage with multiple storage classes. The listed S3 Standard plan covers US East (N. Virginia) and the first 50 TiB storage tier. Its published $0.023 per GiB-month is normalized to $0.021420 per decimal GB-month, rounded to six decimals. StorageMetric uses 1 GB = 1,000,000,000 bytes and 1 TB = 1,000 GB. Requests, internet egress, replication, optional features, and taxes can add charges. Blank request and egress rates mean that a single unconditional rate is not provided; they do not mean free. Larger storage tiers require a separate estimate.

Backblaze

Backblaze B2 offers S3-compatible object storage. Published pay-as-you-go storage starts at $6.95 per TB per 30 days, represented here as $0.006950 per decimal GB-month. Actual billing is based on byte-hours; the first 10 GB are free, and this simple comparison does not subtract that allowance. No minimum storage duration applies. Egress up to three times average monthly storage is free; additional egress is $0.01 per GB unless an eligible partner allowance applies. Class A, B, and C API calls are free; Class D calls have separate fees and allowances. Conditional egress and request rates remain blank. Taxes and optional services are excluded.

Google Cloud

Google Cloud Storage supports regional, dual-region, and multi-region buckets. The listed Standard plan is for Iowa (us-central1). The published hourly storage rate is $0.000027397 per GiB-hour; a 730-hour month is approximately $0.02 per GiB-month. The comparison normalizes this to $0.018626 per decimal GB-month, rounded to six decimals. Actual storage charges depend on byte-hours. Class A and Class B operations have different prices; namespace configuration and transfer destination also affect charges. Blank request and egress rates are excluded costs, not free services. Replication, optional services, and taxes are excluded.

Microsoft Azure

Azure Blob Storage provides object storage with access tiers and redundancy options. The listed plan uses the Hot tier, locally redundant storage (LRS), East US, and the first 50 TiB storage tier. Microsoft Retail Prices API confirms $0.0208 per GiB-month for the Blob Storage Hot LRS Data Stored meter. The comparison normalizes this to $0.019372 per decimal GB-month, rounded to six decimals. Larger tiers, other regions, and redundancy options have different rates. Operations, network transfers, optional features, and taxes are excluded. Blank egress and request rates are unknown or conditional costs, not free services.

Wasabi

Wasabi Hot Cloud Storage pay-as-you-go pricing starts at $7.99 per TiB-month in North America. The comparison normalizes this binary capacity rate to $0.007267 per decimal GB-month, rounded to six decimals. The minimum monthly bill is one TiB, approximately 1,099.51 decimal GB. A 90-day minimum storage duration applies; deleting objects earlier can incur remaining retention charges that this calculator does not model. Free egress is subject to a policy intended for monthly downloads no greater than active storage. Free API requests are also subject to acceptable workload limits. Conditional egress and request rates remain blank. Taxes and optional services are excluded.
